Empaques Modernos de Guadalajara S.A. de C.V. (EMG) starts operations in 1984 as response to the demand of the customers located on the Pacific coast, dedicated in the beginning only to the production of liner recycled paper.
Later on, in 1991 it expands its operations and includes the manufacture of corrugated cardboard and solid fiber package units. In 2006 a new paper mill is assembled with the state-of-the- art technology that can be found in the market to produce coated papers.
Today, EMG stretches over 214,644 m2, where is installed a plant with two paper mills and a modern plant of corrugated boxes.
It has the capacity to produce medium and coated papers with weight from 200 to 600 g/m2.
In cardboard boxes develops proposals according to customers requirements through packaging engineering.
It has the certification ISO 9001: 2008 and Clean Industry. It is in the process of get the certifications ISO 14001: 2004 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 to comply with all environmental standards.
